I have been teaching yoga, movement, and body awareness
as healing arts since 2005. I am an ERYT-500, Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), Yoga Teacher Trainer, and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner in Training (advanced level). I was a certified Anusara Yoga teacher for many years.

In my experiential yoga workshops, I explore how we can increase attunement, deepen our sensory awareness, and coordinate movement in intelligent patterns that reflect wholeness rather than fragmentation. The yoga I teach is progressive - everything builds on everything else - and sustainable - movement, postures, and sequences in service of balancing strength and flexibility.

Deeply informed by long time studies in non-dual Tantra and current interests in applied psychology, Non Violent Communication (NVC), Somatic Experiencing, and creative movement practices, I bring practicality, relevance, and soulful intention into what I share in ways that are accessible, down to earth, and
change making.
I offer workshops, immersive study programs, retreats, and yoga teacher trainings across New Zealand and overseas. I support whole person healing in one-on-one yoga therapy and body centred conversations. As a yoga + somatic therapist, I work with both physical and mental/emotional health and offer mentorship|supervision for yoga teachers and yoga therapists.

I am currently completing postgraduate study in Counselling and in my third year, advanced level of study in Somatic Experiencing, Peter Levine's body based psychotherapy modality.

I was the original founder of Grassroots Yoga in Christchurch, the city where I lived and taught yoga for 11 years.  I now live in Wellington with my partner and our motley crew - including active teenage boys and one wee but mighty toddler.
